Licensure Options:
Students who wish to teach in the PK-6 elementary/middle grades choose from three interdisciplinary majors that combine English and language arts, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics. These majors in include: Interdisciplinary English, Interdisciplinary History and Social Science, and Interdisciplinary Mathematics. Three tracks for Middle School English, Middle School History and Social Science, and Middle School Mathematics 6-8 are also offered.
Students planning to teach in secondary school, grades 6-12, choose from these majors: Biology, Chemistry, Geography/Earth Science, English, History, Mathematics, or Physics.
Students planning to teach at the PK-12 level choose from these majors: Art/Visual Arts, Spanish, Physical Education, Music, Instrumental, or Music, Vocal.
Special Education, K-12 General Curriculum is offered as an add-on endorsement. Human Health and Performance majors can add-on a Drivers Education endorsement.
