One (1) riding class chosen from the following four courses (EQST 101, 102, 201, 202) to learn how to work with horses chosen from one of the following based on performance during riding:

EQST 101 Fundamentals of Riding (Bg/Adv Rider) (1)
EQST 102 Fundamentals of Riding (Advanced Bg) (1)
EQST 201 Fundamentals of Riding (Intermediate) (1)
EQST 202 Fundamentals of Riding (Intermediate) (1)

Major will complete each of the following courses:

EQST 217 Stable Management I (3)
EQST 224 Schooling Techniques (3)
EQST 370 Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies I (3)
EQST 371 Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies II (4)
EQST 418 Equine Health Management (3)
EQST 470 Equine Studies Internship (3)

Total hours: 37 hours

Quantitative Requirement will be met by Statistics 161, 162, or 163 (4 hours)
