Our Facilities

Would you like to perform in world-class facilities throughout your entire E&H career?

Byars Hall

The Music Department is housed in Byars Hall and the Marching Band Building. Faculty studios, practice rooms with a number of upright and grand pianos, and a choral rehearsal hall are located on the ground floor of Byars Hall while the first floor has a music technology classroom that consists of:

• 13 digital, MIDI-capable keyboards
• Macintosh computer stations
• State-of-the-art notation,
ear training, and recording/editing software are installed in this lab.

Marching Band Building:
In the Marching Building there are faculty studios, practice rooms, instrument storage, and a large ensemble rehearsal space.

McGlothlin Center for the Arts

The ability for our students to perform in a world-class center for the arts such as the McGlothlin Center for the Arts is a special opportunity. Not only do they get to perform in the space, but also they get to hear world-class performers who appear as guest artists at the center.

Memorial Chapel

In addition to the McGlothlin Center for the Arts, the Memorial Chapel is a performance space utilized by the music department. Its beautiful sanctuary provides an excellent venue for student and faculty recitals, choral and brass ensemble performances, and even guest artists.
