Emory & Henry prepares clinical mental health and addiction counselors for a rewarding profession that emphasizes the prevention of emotional and mental health concerns, early intervention when problems are identified, and client empowerment.
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a great field that combines sciences/medical knowledge with psychology and working directly with clients of all ages in a personal and meaningful way. Our graduates are occupation-centered and possess leadership, advocacy, critical thinking and professional reasoning skills that will enable them to serve and meet the occupational therapy needs of diverse communities.
The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is a 3-year, 119-credit hour graduate program that includes strong interprofessional (IPE) opportunities and full-time clinical rotations both regionally and nationally. Our state-of-the-art facility, including a Gross Anatomy Lab, Pediatric Lab, Neuro and Musculoskeletal Labs and Falls Prevention Center, allow our students to get first-hand experience with community engagement, service-learning, and rural health care for medically underserved populations.
