Emory & Henry’s recent transition to Division II athletics has contributed significantly to the University’s enrollment growth. Student-athletes know Emory & Henry University is an academic powerhouse suited to the Division II mission of classroom success and the integration of athletes in all areas of campus and community life. The University must have the facilities to support these students.
Construction of a multi-sport complex will provide critical space for competition in track/field and cross country, the University’s fastest growing sports.
This new facility will also facilitate the addition of women’s lacrosse, women’s rugby and men’s lacrosse. It is projected that these sports will bring an additional 90 student-athletes to the University.
In addition, a multi-sport complex will allow the University to expand camps and clinics and host high school/college competitions and championships, all of which are sources of revenue for the University.
We invite you to support this exciting new facility, which will be located at exit 26 on Interstate 81. The Multi-Sport Complex will allow the University to provide a broader array of athletic offerings to students and promote a new front door to Emory & Henry to the nearly 40,000 interstate travelers who pass this exit each day.
