Regina Louise Lutz
Regina Louise Lutz, known to many as Regi, passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 58 in Richmond, Virginia. She was born on July 30, 1965, on Long Island, New York.
Regina leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her surviving sisters, Johanna Kessler (Tommy Kessler of Stuarts Draft) and Becky Lutz (Mike Payne of Buckingham), as well as her beloved nephews, Joey and Will Payne. She also had aunts and numerous cousins who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, George H. Lutz, her mother, Linda H. (Cornetta) Lutz, and her paternal grandparents, George and Elizabeth Lutz, as well as her maternal grandparents, Edward and Frieda Cornetta.
Regina’s formal education began on Long Island and continued in Virginia, where she graduated from Buckingham County High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Emory and Henry College, and later, the Masters of Science in the Management of IT from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
Regina was currently employed at NewMarket Corporation. She had previously worked for Alstom and General Electric. She met and worked with numerous people around the world who became friends.
A curious, life long learner, explorer, and traveler, Regina lived life to the fullest. Last December she checked off the 7th continent, Antarctica, from her bucket list. She was an avid reader, and was involved in hiking and fitness training groups. She often took her beloved dog, Frankie, along on her many adventures.

Friends are hosting a Celebration of Life gathering on March 23 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery West Creek, 820 Sanctuary Trail Drive, Richmond. A small family gathering will be held at a later date.
