Emory & Henry senior Chris Robertson will continue education with E&H

Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.

Chris Robertson will graduate in May 2020 with a degree in History for Secondary Education, but he won’t be going far. Robertson is continuing his education with Emory & Henry and will be pursuing his Masters of Education degree in History.

“Emory & Henry’s education program has contained some of the most practical classes I’ve ever taken for post-graduation preparedness,” says Robertson. “I’m a commuter and a transfer, but I always host dinners with my resident friends so I don’t miss out on student life.”

On campus, Robertson has been involved in student life and served as the librarian for the Calliopian society, a Blue and Gold ambassador, and a student instructor.

“Both the education and history departments have fostered my love for subject and career choice,” says Robertson. “Doctors Jack and John Wells and Dr. Sandy Frederick have been instrumental to my education.”

After earning his masters degree, Robertson plans to begin teaching and pursuing a doctorate degree.
