Transfer & Transform: The Allison twins

Hannah and Emma Allison will be transferring from Virginia Highlands Community College to Emory & Henry this fall.

While Hannah will major in Mass Communications and Emma will major in English, the sisters both decided that Emory & Henry would be a great place to further their education. 

“I heard that Emory & Henry had a great Mass Communications department, so I decided to pursue this school,” says Hannah. 

Emma adds, “I was fortunate enough to have an advisor who spoke very highly of Emory & Henry. With her help and my own research, I knew this was the place for me to explore the fields that interest me.” 

The twins are both grateful for their advisors at both Virginia Highlands and Emory & Henry for their help in the transfer process. 

“Going in this process, I had no idea what to do or what was expected of me,” says Emma. “It was a relief to receive plenty of help and advice from our advisors, who provided me with all the information we needed.”
