Tori Powers to continue education at School of Health Sciences

Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.

Tori Powers, from Gate City, Va., will graduate in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. While on campus, Powers was a member of the women’s basketball team, Blue Key Honor Society, and the Pre-Health Club.

“Emory & Henry helped me make connections that would be beneficial for me when I graduate,” says Powers. “During my time here, I was able to become better prepared for graduate programs. The atmosphere here and community made the transition to college easier and made me a more successful student. Many of the Exercise Science faculty, such as Dr. Barfield, were extremely helpful during my time here.”

After graduation, Powers will start the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the School of Health Sciences.
