First RN to BSN Graduates

Kelly Coleman and Sarah Stanley are the first graduates of Emory & Henry’s RN-BSN online program, which began in 2019.

They received their diplomas on August 14, when Emory & Henry held its commencement ceremony for the School of Nursing and the School of Health Sciences (see below).

“The graduation of our inaugural RN-BSN class is a special milestone for Emory & Henry, marking increased access to Baccalaureate Nursing education in Southwest Virginia,” says Dr. Laurie Anne Ferguson, dean of the School of Nursing.

With hundreds of students coming from Virginia and the region,and more than 47% of students joining the campus from out of state and nine different countries, the College worked throughout the summer to staff a more robust Student Success Center.
