Thomas Roberts to pursue a career as a history teacher

Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.

Thomas Roberts of Luttrell, Tenn. will receive a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary history and social sciences.

Thomas will graduate with the class of 2023. In addition to his studies in interdisciplinary history and social sciences, Roberts is a member of S.A.A.C. and the football and wrestling teams. “I have benefited from the E&H education in the form of the Education department really allowed me to get thoroughly prepared for becoming a teacher. I feel really prepared for the world of Education and I have tons of knowledge about my educational area of history,” Roberts said.

“I will be moving to Knoxville, Tenn. to be a high school history teacher,” Roberts said.

Go out and make memories and meet new people. If you sit in your room all the time, college won’t be as fun as it can be. Also, do not be afraid to ask for help in any of your classes.
