Travis Proffitt of Emory & Henry University Receives 2024 Pharos Lighthouse Award

Pharos Resources, an organization dedicated to enhancing student success and well-being in educational institutions, is proud to announce that Travis Proffitt of Emory & Henry University has received the 2024 Pharos Lighthouse Award - Emerging Leader. The Lighthouse Awards recognize the exceptional efforts and achievements of individuals and institutions in advancing student support, engagement, and success. Travis serves as E&H’s AVP of Retention.

“Travis has been wonderful to collaborate with. He consistently brings a positive and energetic attitude to every meeting,” said Pharos Director of Client Success, Rebekah Green.

Provost and EVP at E&H, Dr. Michael Puglisi, shares, “Travis certainly fits the definition of an ‘Emerging Leader’ at Emory & Henry. He demonstrates each and every day his commitment to student success; he is always exploring ways to maximize student engagement with a focus on providing attention to individual students and their needs.
