Scott Kitts
Scott has been a member of the staff here at Emory & Henry for 18 yrs. He was hired in 2006 as a Support Specialist, providing classroom technology support for equipment purchased under a Title III grant. He also coordinated classroom technology installations for new classrooms and existing classrooms in need of upgrades. During this time he also provided audio visual support for college events and for 2 yrs was a producer and programmer for the college radio station, WEHC. For his efforts with the station, he received the Rita and Craig Sutherland Communications award in 2009. After receiving his Master’s degree for Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech in December of 2014, Scott has been an administrator of our Moodle LMS and is currently the Instructional Technologist in our Center for Online Learning and Professional Studies. He has recently completed QM courses in Designing an Online Course and becoming a Peer Reviewer for Online Courses.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys playing the guitar, spending time with his children, golf, and learning more about Instructional Design.
