Carleigh True
Carleigh True received a bachelor of social work degree from the King University Department of Social Work and her Master’s of Community and Organizational Leadership from Emory & Henry College. While in college, Carleigh developed a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion work. Before coming to Emory & Henry, Carleigh worked at the Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center where she developed skills in planning, facilitating and developing programming.
She enjoys supporting students as they pursue their education and making sure every student and Emory & Henry College is seen, supported, and celebrated. As a Student Success Coach, Carleigh helps students to connect with resources and create strategic plans to accomplish their personal and academic goals. As Family Engagement Coordinator she makes sure that families are connected to campus life and that their concerns are acknowledge and addressed. When she is not working with the incredible students and families of Emory & Henry, she is spending time with her cat, reading, hiking and riding horses.
