I graduated from Elon University in Elon, NC in 2014 with a B.A. in Religious Studies and a minor in Non-Violence Studies, after which I worked as a writing tutor for ESL students at East Tennessee State University. I help my students choose, change, and explore majors and career interests, select and register in appropriate courses that mirror either their graduation plan or their academic interests, get connected with academic support services such as Student Success Coaching, Academic Support & Disability Services, and Counseling Services, explore alternative academic opportunities including internships, study abroad, and service learning, and participate in career exploration through connecting students with a faculty advisor in their major to assist in exploring undergraduate research opportunities and networking within their field of study.
